It was sunny in the afternoon so I felt like a summer meal: Turkish meat patties (köfte) made of ground beef with onions, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, cumin powder and chopped mint and dill, baked in olive oil; potatoes baked in the oven with bay leaves and white wine at 200C after being boiled in a pan on the stove for 10 mins; a salad with rocket and lettuce with feta cheese and baby tomatoes; and some slices of red bell pepper and lemon to go with the meat. A loaf of Moroccan bread and a glass of chilled white wine went very well with this meal.
