Leiden Culinary Festival

So, I checked out the Leiden Culinary Festival past weekend. There were many restaurants offering finger food for reasonable prices: fried gambas, wrapped in bacon, coquilles st Jacques (only one actually, served on some oriental style noodles), half a lobster for 10euros (a good deal, but half of the half lobster turned out to be potato salad), and a chef's hamburger made with special beef mince and a slice of duck liver. I had white wine to go with it, and when back at home (for it started raining) was inspired to make home-made mayonnaise with truffle oil to have with my leftover salmon and pasta.
